WhO Am I?

How did E3 get started?

Ekaterina is my given name - you might be thinking what nationality is a name like that from?

To make a long story short, I moved to Canada from Russia as a teeneager.  My dad was an Olympic Luge athlete. This is what began my journey into competitive snowboarding for 15 years. The hard decision to retire happened after 2014 Sochi Olympics and as you can imagine, many emotions emerged from living a life that revolved around fitness and healthy eating to finding my place in the corporate world. All of this change was overwhelming and was compounded with the reality of trying to maintain a healthy lifestyle, while working a full time job outside of fitness and the Olympics.  As many retired athletes, I struggled to find a balance mentally, physically and emotionally.  

This is when I decided to embark on my fitness competitor journey. My body and mind was literally taken to the next level when learning the importance of nutrition and body composition in the body building world.  Similar to being an athlete, fitness competition is a full time commitment, which gave me no time for anything else in my life.  Although the pre-competition prep was hard, it was the “BALANCE” after the competition that has led me to the place I am now of wanting to help and encourage busy women and men to maintain a healthy yet balanced lifestyle and diet.

What started off as a small meal preparation service for my close friends has grown into a service that provides convenient, balanced, healthy, fitness – inspired foods that are made with the highest quality ingredients. 

My goal is to make your life easier and ensure you’re meeting your nutrition requirements. With my  B-Ed in Kinesiology, numerous nutrition certifications (Pn1, Canfitpro, Raw Nutrition, MindBody Nutrition), as well as my personal training certificate (CSEP-CPT), compounded with my experience as a former professional athlete, I hope that you will trust and use my expertise to guide and prepare your meals throughout the week.
